We made it! Carol did the sewing on the dress, I did the corset and bonnet. I want you all to note that she told me that it didn't have to be a long sleeve dress (which it's supposed to be by the way) but we got it done in time for trek! We added some elastic to the bottom of my old pair of pajama pants for the bloomers. Yeehaw!
Sew cute. And I love the addition of the bloomers. Now I just hope she remembers the sunscreen that I have worked so hard to teach her about. Carol, you look so much more adorable than I did on trek (trust me, I have a picture of me looking most dumpy- there is no other word to describe it).
ReplyDeleteHave no fear Becky, you have taught me well. I was probably the highest user of sunscreen in the entire ward, and you could tell the next day at church. Suffice it to say, I was surrounded by many red faces with nothing to show for myself aside from a few extra freckles. Done well you have, my not-so-young padawan. (And no, I was not calling you old)
